As the Design Lead for Gudu, I was responsible for creating a user-friendly and visually appealing app that embodies the spirit of freedom and spontaneity. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, I ensured seamless integration of design elements and improved the app's usability based on user feedback. The result is an immersive and delightful fitness experience for Gudu users.

Brand & ux redefine

Solution and Goals
Gudu's unique concept of providing "no strings attached" workout routines for users, combined with the opportunity for studio owners to fill empty spots, inspired us to select bright pink as the brand's primary color. This vibrant hue represents positive energy and good vibes, reflecting the spirit of Gudu. Additionally, we leveraged real images of Gudu partners to promote the app on social media, creating an authentic and relatable connection with our target audience.

The challange
Creating a pay-per-use fitness app presents challenges, but also opportunities for users to discover new activities and seek excitement. Key challenges include developing a seamless payment system, addressing privacy concerns, ensuring real-time availability, maintaining fair pricing, and standing out in a competitive market.

The Solution and goals
The primary objective of the UX and UI redesign was to provide Gudu users with a delightful experience to explore a wide range of activities offered by our vendors. We aimed to enhance the booking flow and scheduling process, ensuring a fast and seamless experience for our dynamic and adventurous users. Our focus was to create an experience that resonates with their vibrant and spontaneous lifestyle.

The challange
The challenge of marketing a fitness app on social media lies in standing out among the competition, effectively targeting the desired audience, creating engaging content, and maintaining a consistent presence. It involves navigating the ever-changing algorithms, capturing attention amidst the crowded digital space, and adapting strategies to maximize reach and user engagement.

By tapping into our audience and utilizing authentic images of our vendors within the app, we were able to address the challenge of marketing our fitness app on social media. This approach helped us establish a genuine connection with our target users and create content that resonated with them. The use of real-life images added credibility and authenticity to our marketing efforts, resulting in increased user engagement and a stronger connection with our audience.
